Overview  

The government of Vietnam will open five entry system gates (autogates) at airport entry points. The five airports include Da Nang, Noi Bai, Cam Ranh, Tan Son Nhat, and Phu Quoc. Initially, autogates will be available to Vietnamese citizens holding valid chip-based passports. From there, eligible travelers must only register for a permit for all subsequent entry and exit times.

The government of Vietnam opened five entry system gates to simplify entry into the country for Vietnamese citizens holding valid chip-based passports. According to the government, these measures aim to speed up the processing of immigration procedures in the country.
