Bermuda: Visa and Work Permit Backlog Reduced

Overview  

The government of Bermuda announced that it had resolved previous backlogs in work permits after a cyber-attack disrupted processing in September 2023. The government advised employers to ensure that all work permit applications meet the minimum salary requirement of $16.40 per hour. Employers must submit updated contracts for current work permit holders and applications that have been in progress prior to 1 June 2023.
