Overview
In collaboration with the U.S. government, Austria’s government signed a professional development and cultural exchange program agreement, known as the USA Working Holiday Program (WHP), on 20 February 2024. Under the WHP, young adults between 18 and 30 can utilize the program to (co-)finance their stay of up to 12 months in paid employment and use the educational institutions in the partner country.
