Pakistan: Electronic Visa Introduced

  • Pakistan introduced a new electronic visa for travelers from 120 countries for tourism and business purposes  

Overview  

The government of Pakistan introduced a simplified, free electronic visa process for nationals of 120 countries traveling for tourism or business. Eligible travelers must apply for a Visa before arrival through the Ministry of Interior’s online platform at least 48 hours before entry.  

Once approved, they can stay for up to 90 days with multiple entries. Citizens of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE can enter without prior approval. Business travelers need a host invitation, company documents and hotel booking, while tourists must provide a hotel reservation and travel itinerary.
