The United Arab Emirates: Visa on Arrival Permissions for Select Travelers
Key Points
- The United Arab Emirates expanded its visa-on-arrival permissions to nationals of Canada, the UK and five other countries
Overview
The government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) extended the visa-on-arrival stay to 90 days for nationals of Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Japan, Singapore, the UK and the US. Previously, most could stay for 30 days, except Brazilians, who had 90 days within a year. It’s still unclear if the 90-day stay applies per entry, within 180 days, or annually.
