Geoff Baird

Geoff Baird is a Senior Operating Executive partnering with Palladium Equity in the technology sector. Working as an independent consultant he leverages extensive PE experience assisting sourcing of new investments and driving growth in their technology portfolio businesses.

Geoff is the Chairperson of Source Logistics, Chairperson of Envoy Global, a Board Member of Propeller Industries and an advisor to Fora Financial. Previously, Geoff was the Senior Managing Director of Value Creation at LLR Partners where he built a functional expert team supporting portfolio companies. Prior to joining LLR, Geoff was an operating executive at Tailwind Capital where he assisted in sourcing, evaluating and performing due diligence on investment opportunities. He served as a board member and active advisor to Tailwind portfolio companies Stratix Corporation (Chair), Diversified, AST and CoreBTS. In addition, Geoff was a board director at Worldaware, an LLR portfolio company. He also invests in early-stage technology companies as an angel investor and advisor.

Geoff’s leadership background is highlighted by several executive roles in the mobile, Internet of Things (IoT) and communications sectors. He previously served as President of the Product & Technology Group at AGT International, CEO of 3i-MIND, and Vice President and General Manager of the Small Medium Business Unit and the Communications Appliances Business Unit at Avaya. Earlier in his career, Geoff was the CEO of mobile technology firms Commtag and Xtempus, and COO of Psion Computing.

He received his MBA with distinction from the London Business School and a BSc in Cybernetics and Mathematics from the University of Reading, UK.
