Ireland’s Employment Permits Online Platform

Ireland will replace its current employment permits online system (EPOS) system with a modern, cloud-based Employment Permits Online platform. To transition, the EPOS website will be offline from 17 April 2025. Draft applications not submitted by then will not transfer to the new system.

The new platform offers portal accounts for employers, employees, and agents, enhancing application tracking, security, and efficiency. Registration will require documents like Revenue and CRO details and multi-factor authentication. Support tools, such as tutorials and guides, will be available ahead of the launch.

Further updates will be provided on the Employment Permits webpage.
