Andorra: New Quotas for Work and Residence Authorization
Key Points
- Andorra updated its work and residence quotas beginning 2 April 2024
Work and Residence Authorization Quotas
The government of Andorra modified the work and residence authorization quota system effective 2 April 2024. Non-EU workers transitioning from seasonal to renewable quotas now need four years of professional experience in their intended field in Andorra.
An exception allows up to 300 workers, expandable to 30%, who worked for at least four months in the same company during the recent winter season to continue working. These changes aim to meet the business sector’s workforce needs while ensuring sustainable growth amidst population growth and housing challenges.
