Belgium New Family Reunification Income Requirements

Belgium Introduces Income Threshold for Fast-Track Family Visas 

Belgium will now require principal permit holders to earn a minimum of EUR 5,000 gross per month to sponsor dependents through the fast-track family reunification visa. Fast-track applications are processed in 15 days instead of the standard nine-month timeline. 

Exceptions to this rule will apply to: 

  • EU Blue Card holders 
  • Intra-corporate transferees 
  • Researchers with hosting agreements  
  • Self-employed individuals with valid professional cards
