Overview  

The government of Belgium introduced a new list of professionals in shortage roles on 1 October 2023 in the region of Wallonia. The list of positions includes roles facing a labor shortage in French-speaking regions with a view to admitting a third-country national to work.   

What are the Changes?  

The authorities of Wallonia, Belgium, updated its list of shortage professionals to include 68 different roles. This list will remain in place until 30 September 2024.
