Bermuda: New Transit Entry Requirements

  • Bermuda will now require foreign nationals from 115 countries to acquire a transit visa when traveling onward to the U.S., the United Kingdom and Canada 

Overview  

The government of Bermuda will now require foreign nationals from 115 countries to acquire a transit visa when traveling onward to the United States (U.S.), the United Kingdom and Canada. As a result, foreign nationals transiting from these three countries into Bermuda will be required to provide proof of valid travel authorization issued by Canada, the U.S. or the UK.  

What are the Changes?  

The Bermudian government introduced measures that will require travelers from the U.S., Canada and the UK to hold valid travel authorization when transiting through Bermuda. According to the government announcement, these measures are a result of abuses of entry procedures and travel to Bermuda.
