Canada: Parents and Grandparents Residence Program

  • Canada will begin sending Invitation to Apply to potential sponsors under the Parents and Grandparents Program beginning 10 October 2023 

Overview  

The government of Canada will begin sending Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to potential sponsors under the Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP) beginning 10 October 2023. Eligible applicants must have previously submitted an Interest to Sponsor form.  

Invitations will be sent electronically via email over the next two weeks to randomly selected potential sponsors from the remaining pool of 2020 Interest to Sponsor forms.  

What are the Changes?  

The Canadian government will begin issuing ITAs to parents and grandparents under the Parents and Grandparents Program on 10 October.
