Overview  

The government of Chile lifted its remaining COVID-19-related entry restrictions on 9 May 2023. As a result, travelers will no longer be required to provide proof of a negative PCR test result or a vaccination certificate. The government will also end randomized testing at its border entry points.  

What are the Changes?  

The government of Chile lifted its COVID-19 entry measures on 9 May 2023. According to the government announcement, this decision was made as a result of the World Health Organization declaring the end of the COVID-19 public health emergency.
