Chile: National Minimum Wage for 2024

  • Chile will increase the country’s national monthly minimum wage over the next several months 

Overview  

The government of Chile will raise the country’s national monthly minimum wage to around CPL $500,000 by 2024. Gradual increases will be introduced over the next several months: 

  • CLP $ 440,000 by 1 May 2023 
  • CLP $ 460,000 by 1 September 2023 
  • CLP $ 500,000 by 1 July 2024 

What are the Changes?  

The government of Chile increased the country’s national monthly minimum wage to CLP $ 500,000 by 2024. These changes will apply to workers between the age of 18 and 65.
