China: Lifting of Pre-Arrival COVID-19 Testing Requirements

  • China will lift COVID-19 pre-arrival testing requirements beginning 30 August 2023 

Overview 

Beginning 30 August 2023, the government of China will no longer require inbound travelers to undergo a pre-arrival COVID-19 test. As a result, travelers will be permitted to enter the country under regular entry procedures. Travelers should ensure that they hold the appropriate travel documents before departing for Mainland China.

The government of China will lift COVID-19 pre-arrival testing requirements beginning 30 August 2023.
