China: Seven Countries Added to Visa-Free Travel Scheme

  • China has temporarily expanded its visa-free entry scheme to include nationals of seven additional countries 

Overview  

The government of China will introduce visa-free entry options for nationals of France, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, the Netherlands and Spain beginning 1 December 2023. Nationals of these countries will be permitted to enter mainland China for a period of 15 days for tourism, business, family or transit purposes. These measures are expected to remain in place until 30 November 2024.

The government of China has temporarily expanded its visa-free entry scheme to include nationals of seven additional countries.
