Denmark: New Income Statistics for Residence and Work Permits
Key Points
- Demark will begin assessing residence and work permit applications under new income statistics beginning 1 April 2024
Overview
The government of Demark will begin assessing residence and work permit applications under new income statistics beginning 1 April 2024. The government uses income data from The Confederation of Danish Employers (DA) to check if a job offer meets Danish salary standards for visa applications.
Foreign national applicants applying for a work and residence permit after 31 March 2024 will have their applications assessed based on the new income statistics. Applicants who applied between 1 January and 31 March 2024 will be evaluated using income statistics from the third quarter of 2023.
