The government of France increased the minimum wage by 1.81% on 1 January 2023. As a result, the minimum hourly gross wage increased to €11.27, representing a monthly wage increase to €1,709.28 on a weekly basis of 35 hours.
What are the Changes?
The government of France increased the country’s hourly minimum wage to €11.27 on 1 January 2023. According to the government announcement, the effort to increase the minimum wage is a result of re-evaluation of the minimum salary requirements of the Talent passport status for certain employees and for certain general multi-year resident permits.
