Overview
The French government will increase the country’s minimum wage requirements and internship pay for 2024. As a result, the following rates will apply:
- Minimum growth wage (SMIC): increases by 1.13% to a total of €11.65 gross per hour. The minimum monthly wage will be set to €1,766.96 for a 35-hour work week.
- Compensation for internships will increase to €4.35 per hour.
