Ghana: Visa-On-Arrival for All Travelers

Overview
Beginning 1 December 2023, the government of Ghana will expand eligibility for visa-on-arrival applicants to include all travelers. As a result, travelers will not be required to apply for a visa prior to arrival during this time. These measures will remain in place until 15 January 2024. The waiver will allow travelers to acquire a 30-day single-entry visa upon arrival at the airport in Ghana.
What are the Changes?
The government of Ghana will allow all travelers entering the country from 1 December 2023 to 15 January 2024 to obtain a visa-on-arrival. According to the government announcement, these measures will help to facilitate entry of all visitors into the country throughout the holiday season.
