Greece: Updated Procedures for Digital Nomad Visas

  • Beginning 1 January 2024, Greece will no longer accept digital nomad visas submitted from within the country 

Overview  

The government of Greece announced that it will no longer accept in-country digital nomad visa applications submitted from 1 January 2024 onwards. Instead, applicants will be required to apply at a Greek consulate office in their country of residence. 

What are the Changes?  

The government of Greece updated its procedures for applicants of its digital nomad visa pathway. This change may result in different document requirements and processing timelines depending on the country where the application is submitted.
