Iceland begins accepting Schengen visa applications in Canada
Effective 10 February 2025, Iceland will start accepting Schengen visa applications directly from Canada. As a result, Denmark will no longer represent Iceland for visa applications in Canada.
Applicants can now submit their visa applications at VFS Global locations in Vancouver, Toronto, and Ottawa. For further details on application procedures and requirements, visit the VFS Global website.
Applications submitted in Canada will be sent to the Icelandic Embassy in Washington, D.C. Once processed, the applications will be returned to VFS, where applicants can pick up their passports and application files.
