Israel: Three-Month Visa Extensions

  • Israel introduced visa extensions for non-work visa categories and work visas held by individuals employed in specific sectors 

Overview  

The Israeli government introduced a three-month extension period for work permits held by foreign nationals in domestic nursing, the hotel and hospitality sector and the agriculture sector. As a result, permits due to expire by 7 October 2023 will remain valid until 7 January 2024.   

The government of Israel also introduced an extension period for all non-work visa categories, including residence permits, that are due to expire within the next three months. As a result, these visas will remain valid until 8 February 2024.

The government of Israel introduced visa extensions for non-work visa categories and work visas held by individuals employed in specific sectors.  

Looking Ahead  

Currently, the government does not have plans to introduce extensions beyond 8 February 2024. Continue to check the government of Israel’s website and Envoy’s website for the latest updates and information.
