Japan: Industries List Qualified Under the Specified Skilled Worker Visa

Key Points

  • Japan added nine additional industries to the qualification list for the Specified Skilled Worker visa

Overview

The government of Japan added additional industries to the qualification list for the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) visa. These nine new industries include aviation, agriculture, technology manufacturing, food and beverage, food services, hospitality, building cleaning, fishing and the auto industries.
