Japan: Removal of COVID-19 Entry Measures

Removal of all COVID-19 Travel Rules as of 1 May 2023:

The government of Japan no longer requires travelers to present proof of a valid vaccination certificate or certificate of inspection for COVID-19. The government also lifted all pre-registration quarantine requirements for travelers entering the country. These changes mark the end of COVID-19 travel restrictions for foreign nationals entering Japan. Originally, these measures were to remain in place until 8 May 2023.
