Overview
The government of Kenya and the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) announced the implementation of a visa waiver program that will allow nationals of both countries to enter the other country without a business or tourist visa for a limited period. As a result, all DRC and Kenyan passport holders can stay in each country for a maximum period of 30 days.
What are the Changes?
Kenya and the DRC established a joint visa waiver program for passport holders entering the other country for business and tourism purposes. According to the announcement, shared by the East African Community (EAC) Headquarters, the agreement brings certain travel regulations in line with provisions established under the EAC Common Market Protocol.
