Luxembourg: Updated Minimum Salary Requirements

  • Luxembourg updated its minimum salary requirements for blue card holders and other work authorization holders  

Overview of Salary Requirement Changes  

The Government of Luxembourg has recently adjusted the minimum salary requirements for EU Blue Card holders. These changes, outlined in the Ministerial regulation of 15 March 2024, will come into effect on 24 March 2024. 

  • Regular Occupations: EUR 88,452 per year 
  • Shortage Occupations: EUR 70,762 per year 

Existing EU Blue Card Holders will only be impacted upon card renewal. For renewals after 24 March 2024, the updated salary requirements must be met.
