Luxembourg: Work and Residence Permit Processing Delays for 2024

  • Luxembourg may experience work and residence permit processing delays after transitioning its immigration service to the Ministry of Interior’s office  

Overview  

The government of Luxembourg finalized the transition of its immigration servicer from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Ministry of Interior. As a result, the ministry will begin processing work and residence permits beginning in January 2024. Backlogs with residence permits and work visas may persist.
