The government of Malaysia updated the requirements for employers advertising job vacancies in the MyFutureJobs portal prior to offering a position to a foreign national employee. These updated requirements include the following:
- Specialized skills positions will no longer be conditionally exempt from advertising the position to local employees.
- Shortening the advertising period from 30 to 14 days for Employment Pass applications.
