Malaysia Updates Professional Visit Pass Documents

Key Points

  • Malaysia’s MYXpats centre has updated the sample documents for Professional Visit Pass (PVP) applications, now required for all new submissions

Overview

Malaysia’s MYXpats centre of the Expatriate Services Division (ESD) has updated sample documents for Professional Visit Pass (PVP) applications in the ESD Online system. These updates include:

  • Application Letter
  • Personal Bond Ref. No. (P.L.N. 228/63)
  • Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) stamped by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRB), if applicable

These changes align with new requirements and streamline formatting based on feedback. Effective immediately, all PVP applications must use these updated sample documents. Users can access the updated documents and the ESD Online Guidebook by logging into their ESD account and navigating to the Application menu.
