New Zealand: Extension for Employers Accredited Under the AEWV Scheme

Overview  

The government of New Zealand introduced a one-off automatic extension of 12 months for accreditation qualifications acquired by employers under the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) scheme. The extension will apply to employers who apply for accreditation prior to 4 July 2023. For further information on the extension dates, check here.  

What are the Changes?  

The New Zealand government has introduced a one-time automatic extension of 12 months for accreditation qualifications obtained by employers under the AEWV scheme. The government has stated that this extension will assist in eliminating administrative obstacles when reapplying for accreditation while employers become familiar with the new system.
