New Zealand: New Online Forms for Certain Immigration Steps

Overview  

The government of New Zealand introduced two new immigration online forms for visa transfers and Permanent Resident Visa expressions of interest.  

The visa transfer form will simplify procedures for foreign nationals with valid visas to update any new passport information. Visa holders must update their passport information on current visas to travel in and out of the country. These changes mean that visa holders will no longer be required to visit a visa application center (VAC).  

The government also introduced a new online option for applicants interested in applying for a Parent Resident Visa. For additional information on the application process, check here.  

What are the Changes?  

The government of New Zealand expanded online form options for visa transfers and Permanent Resident Visa applications. According to the government announcement, these measures will help simplify and speed up certain aspects of the immigration process in the country.
