New Zealand: Resident Visa Applications to Open

- New Zealand will begin accepting residence visa applications beginning 29 September 2023 for certain foreign nationals currently holding visas in the country
Overview
The government of New Zealand will allow eligible applicants of the Work to Residence Visa, Care Workforce Work to Residence Visa, or Transport Work to Residence Visas to submit their residence visa application beginning 29 September 2023. Eligible applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold two years of eligible work experience in a Green List or sector agreement role in New Zealand;
- Meet the relevant skill and wage thresholds; and
- Meet the other standard visa application requirements such as health, character, English language, and age.
