New Zealand: Temporary Entry Measures for UK Businesspersons

Overview
The government of New Zealand introduced temporary entry for specific categories of business persons traveling from the United Kingdom (UK) on 31 May 2023.
Business visitors traveling to New Zealand to attend meetings, conferences or training seminars or commercial transactions can enter the country under the New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA) at least 72 hours before traveling.
The following individuals can apply for a Specific Purpose Work Visa:
- Intra-corporate transferees, including executives and managers;
- Contractual service suppliers; and
- Independent professionals.

The government of New Zealand introduced new temporary entry measures for certain businesspersons from the UK. These measures result from the New Zealand-United Kingdom Free Trade Agreement (NZ-UK FTA).
