Nationals of Niger will now be allowed to travel to countries within the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). These countries include Benin, Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde, Cote d’Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Republic of Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo. ECOWAS previously imposed travel restrictions on nationals of Niger in July 2023 due to political instability but has now been lifted.
