Poland: Student Visa Application Updates
Key Points
- Poland introduced additional verification measures when it comes to documents submitted for a student visa application
Overview
The government of Poland introduced additional measures to verify the creditability of student visa applications. As a result, foreign national students must provide proof and verification of holding a secondary school certificate issued by an academic university abroad.
To apply for a student visa, the applicant must:
- Submit their high school qualifications (secondary school certificates) for approval from the relevant Polish regional education authority and a document confirming the right to admission to a Polish university.
- Documents issued within EU or OECD member states and international certificates will be recognized automatically.
- For example, the International Baccalaureate and the European Baccalaureate.
