  • Saudi Arabia will begin to require Indian nationals to submit biometrics as part of the work visa process beginning 31 January 2024 

Overview  

The government of Saudi Arabia will begin to require Indian nationals to submit biometrics as part of the work visa process beginning 31 January 2024. Originally, these measures were to take effect on 22 January 2024. 

Other Saudi consular offices throughout India and the globe will implement similar requirements in the coming weeks. Visa processing delays are likely due to these changes.
