South Africa: Trusted Tour Operator Scheme

Overview  

The government of South Africa will launch the Trusted Tour Operator Scheme (TTOS) in January 2025. This program offers pre-registration, expedited visa processing and dedicated visa adjudicators for tourists from Mainland China and India.  

The scheme, which aims to reduce long visa processing times, is expected to boost tourism from these countries. The program may be extended to other nationalities in the future, and further details will follow once the Department releases them.
