South Africa: Zimbabwe and Lesotho Exemption Permits Moved Online

Overview  

The government of South Africa will allow holders of Zimbabwe Exemption Permits (ZEP) and Lesotho Exemption Permits (LEP) to apply for permits through an online portal managed by the Visa Facilitation Services (VFS). Eligible applicants must complete an online application form and payment before scheduling an appointment at the VFS office. The portal is part of the government’s automatic extension of ZEPs and LEPs, which will remain in place until 31 December 2025.
