Overview
South Korea will increase fees for foreign residence cards, including Overseas Korean Residence Cards, beginning 1 January 2025. These fees will increase from W30,000 to W35,000.
These cards will include an integrated IC chip to store personal identification numbers. Existing foreign residence cards will remain valid and will not need to be replaced unless they are expired.
