State Department Releases September 2023 Visa Bulletin

NOTE:  U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will use the Final Action Dates chart for the September 2023 Visa Bulletin. Please check the USCIS website  for more information.  

Overview     

The State Department has released the  September 2023 Visa Bulletin.  USCIS will use the Final Action Dates chart for employment-based categories. The updates below reflect information for employment-based categories.    

What are the Changes?           

In September 2023, there are minimal changes in quota dates from the August 2023 Visa Bulletin. This month, EB-1 is unchanged, while EB-2 and EB-3 have slight progressions.    

EB-1          

No changes from last month’s visa bulletin.  

EB-2 

All Chargeability Areas (except for China and India) will move ahead three months to July 1, 2022. China and India final action dates remain the same as last month’s visa bulletin. 

EB-3      

China will move ahead three months to September 1, 2019. All other countries will stay the same.
