Taiwan: eGate Entry Service for Nationals of Singapore

Overview
The Taiwanese authorities expanded its eGate entry service to include Singaporean residents as of 27 July 2023. As a result, Singapore citizens above the age of 12, who hold no criminal record and proof of an e-passport valid for six months or more, will be permitted to enter Taiwan through an eGate.
Eligible individuals must complete an Online Arrival Card form and register at an immigration counter at the port of arrival in order to benefit from the expedited entry services. For additional information on entry conditions, check here.
What are the Changes?
The authorities of Taiwan expanded its eGate entry services to nationals of Singapore on 27 July 2023. According to the announcement, these measures will increase diplomatic relations between the two governments.
