The Netherlands: New Recognized Employer Sponsorship Requirements

Overview
Beginning 1 April 2024, the government of the Netherlands will introduce additional obligation requirements for recognized sponsors of highly skilled foreign nationals. These documents will include the following:
- Salary slips
- A copy of a diploma and diploma validation (if applicable)
- English and Dutch language test results
Recognized sponsors must retain records of this information for up to five years after a foreign national is no longer employed at the company.
