The United Kingdom: Commercial Partner Visa Application

• The United Kingdom introduced changes to the submission process of the commercial partner visa application  

Overview  

The UK government announced changes to its commercial partner visa application services. 

Applications Outside the UK: 

From September 2024 to January 2025, the commercial partner will switch from TLScontact to VFS Global across Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia. Other regions remain unaffected. Affected applicants will receive emails from TLScontact and VFS Global. VFS Global will continue to process all previously submitted applications.  

From 22 October 2024, VFS Global will operate in countries like Algeria, Ghana, Kenya and South Africa. From 5 November 2024, it will manage centers in France, Turkey, Ukraine and others. 

Applications Inside the UK: 

Starting 15 October 2024, the UK Visa and Citizenship Application Services partner will change from Sopra Steria to TLScontact. No action is needed, and processing times or decisions won’t be affected.
