USCIS Announces Upcoming Improvements for FY 2025 H-1B Cap Season

To provide a better customer experience for the upcoming fiscal year (FY) 2025 H-1B cap season, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced several improvements.   

First, USCIS plans to launch organizational accounts in February 2024, allowing multiple individuals within an organization, including companies or other business entities and legal representatives, to collaborate on preparing H-1B registrations. This change aims to reduce common errors when submitting H-1B visa registrations, including submitting duplicates, and streamline the process. Second, shortly after it launches the organizational accounts, USCIS plans to launch online filing for Form I-907, Request for Premium Processing Service, and Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker. Third, USCIS will switch the paper filing locations for Forms I-907 and I-129 from USCIS service centers to the USCIS lockbox in order to reduce costs and improve efficiency. 

To prepare for this change, USCIS will hold national engagements on Jan. 23, 2024, and Jan. 24, 2024, to assist organizations and legal representatives with the new process.
