Vietnam: New eVisa Policy and Validity Period

Overview
On 15 August 2023, the government of Vietnam introduced a new e-visa validity period of up to 90 days for single entry or multiple entries into the country.
Nationals of over 80 countries across the globe qualify for an e-visa for Vietnam. For a complete list of these countries, check here.
E-visa applications can be submitted by the individual traveler or a company or organization supporting the travel.
What are the Changes?
The government of Vietnam introduced a new 90-day maximum period of stay for e-visa holders from 80 different countries. Previously, the maximum period of stay was limited to a maximum period of 30 days and only entry.
